2018 CALENDAR OF EVENTS
Below is a calendar of events that we anticipate will take place in the upcoming season.

The Copake Lake Community is very active during the Summer months with various community activities and fundraising events. These include monthly meetings of the CLCS, educational and environmental programs, as well family oriented fun and entertainment. Please consider becoming involved by attending and/or volunteering for these activities and events. The success of our organization depends upon the support of our community members!!

Town of Copake Clean-Up Day*

The Town of Copake hosts an annual clean-up day every spring at the Town Garage, 47 School Road (off Rt 22 by the old Roe-Jan School). Construction or demolition debris are not permitted. For more information, call Town Hall, 518-329-1234 Ext.2

Saturday, May 26
9 AM - Noon
Annual CLCS Shoreline Clean-Up Day

Join your neighbors in this annual effort to remove debris that has accumulated over the winter months in and around the lake. CLCS committee members will be at the corner of Route 7 and Lakeview Road, where there will be a dumpster. Lake neighbors are asked to remove debris from the lake and shoreline. You can then either bring it to the dumpster or place it along the lake side of the road. Volunteers will remove and dispose of the debris by making a one-time pass by truck from 10:00 - 10:30am from Lakeview Road to County Route 7 ending at Jefferson/Juliana Drive. The dumpster is for lake debris only. No construction debris, 4-tire limit. Rain Date: Sunday, May 27.

Copake-Hillsdale Farmers Market Opens for the season*. Open 9am to 1pm every Saturday through October 27. Location is 9140 State Route 22, Hillsdale NY (just across from the Roe-Jane Library. Monday, July 4
1 PM Annual Boat Parade*
Starting at Southwest Colony, the always popular boat parade features watercraft of all types taking a slow tour around the lake to the delight of participants and shoreline onlookers.

CLCS Annual Meeting and Open House
10 AM -12 Noon (refreshments served beginning at 9:30 am)
Copake Town Hall; 230 Mountain View Road
Open to all CLCS members and anyone interested in learning more about our organization, the annual meeting provides an opportunity to get involved and stay up to date on lake related issues. Trustees are elected at this time, refreshments are served, and CLCS merchandise is available for purchase. Remember, your membership must be paid for the current year in order for you to vote.

14th Annual CLCS Summer Bash: "Denim and Diamonds"
Cocktails at 6:30pm; Dinner at 7:30pm. The Greens Restaurant

9:00 PM Fireworks on Copake Lake
A spectacular fireworks display that has become an annual tradition. Board your watercraft, relax on your dock, or visit the Greens to enjoy the show. This event is organized by Denise Chickery and made possible by community donations.

11 AM CLCS Labor Day Raffle Drawing at the Lighthouse Marina

Saturday, September 22
5th Annual Roe-Jan Ramble Bike Ride*
This ride travels through Copake, Hillsdale and Ancram. Proceeds benefit the expansion of the Hudson Valley Rail Trail. Registration is limited to 300 riders. More information at www.roejanramble.org or call Tom Goldsworthy 347-952-5764.
